When Adam Met Apple

The real life musical Wrong Com

In this world there are things that make us who we are and things that make us who we aren’t. Adam All; youngish, charming and naive, grapples with life whilst wiggling daringly out of his mothers two bed terrace and his all-too-manly-cocoon only to find he’s got it all wrong….or has he?

Follow Adams journey, through the classic mediums of pop song and comedy, to a world of love, evolution, heartbreak and glitter where he meets the Apple of his eye; the law defying, devastatingly loud and proud Alpha-femme, Apple Derrieres, who knows exactly what she wants but not necessarily how to get it.

Together they discover how much of their own pre-expectations are a bunch of pharisaical bulls*** and instead tumble dynamically out of the box.

Critically acclaimed Drag Super Couple Adam All and Apple Derrieres bring to the stage at long last the story of their love affair and the trials of a working relationship in this demanding modern society.

This two-hander musical wrong-com is a fast paced rainbow of bravery and flamboyance, as this real life couple juggle the power balance, swallow their pride and show just what it takes to truly make it werk.

Adam All was referred to as the ‘Godfather of the Drag King scene in the UK’ and one of the ‘Game-changers’ of the UK Drag Scene in TimeOut Magazine . Adam has featured in projects with TEDx, Asos and The London Queer Fashion Show and has appeared on ‘This Morning’ for ITV, BBC London News, BBC Newsbeat and London Live and SKY to name a few. Adam All is also the founder and host of popular Drag King cabaret night BOiBOX which has been described as the ‘cornerstone of the UK Drag King Scene, alongside his on and off-stage partner Apple Derrieres, and co-host of smash hit Drag King competition Man Up! alongside the legendary Jonnny Woo. Adam has been performing nationally for 10 years and is a huge advocate of the emerging, engaging and empowering Drag King scene. In 2013, the alpha-femme Apple Derrieres joined Adam on stage and since then they’ve taken the cabaret world by storm, performing nationally together with their unique brand of live blended vocals, coordinated couture and cartoon flavoured Drag.
